This week we jumped from ‘Under The Sea’ up to the stars! We decided to focus on setting goals and aiming high by imagining our own paths.
For this week’s adventure, we visited the NAS Wildwood Aviation Museum. With the hard work of our Activity Director (Barb), we were flying high and having a blast!
Summer isn’t the only thing flying by. Our first craft of our Week 3 summer program was ‘Under the Sea’ themed windsocks.
With summer well under way, we felt it was time for a party! Our first craft of the week in our Summer Program involved Jell-O, teddy bear graham crackers, and some personal creativity. Can you guess what we made?
The first week of our summer 2021 program started off with a splash! To kick off our ‘Under the Sea’ themed summer, we made tropical fish out of sea shells on the first day.
We are excited to announce an up and coming event on July 15, If you are a resident of Cape May Housing Authority, join us for an adventure at Revolution Railroad!
With the help of our new Activities Coordinator, Barbara, we plan on making this a summer to remember. Read on to learn more about our wonderful new team member!
Cape May Cares celebrated the start of summer with an end of school celebration on June 17th. We had a phenomenal turn out, with about 70 people attending. This included the Mayor of Cape May (Zach Mullock), City Council members such as Lorraine Baldwin, the Cape May Police Department, and Cape Island Bike Rentals.
We have made it through another academic year! Hard work, determination, and some fun, of course, define so many of the hardworking students in Cape May. To celebrate, we will be hosting a wide array of activities on June 17th!
