With the help of our new Activities Coordinator, Barbara, we plan on making this a summer to remember. Read on to learn more about our wonderful new team member!

Barbara currently teaches at Bobby’s Run School in Lumberton, with over 17 years of teaching experience in grades 1-5. Some of her fellow teachers were so kind as to donate supplies for summer activities. As you can see from the photos below, there certainly won’t be a shortage of things to do! We are so grateful for such a generous donation.

Barbara also serves on many committees including Equity, Student Support Team, District Evaluation Team, and is currently the supervisor of the Student Voice Club.

A busy bee, Barbara also ran her own fashion boutique from 2010 to 2020. She is married with two daughters, and has a dog, Charlie.

When not at school, Barbara enjoys going to the beach, singing, and reading. As the borders begin to open up again, she also hopes to plan a trip to Denmark, with stunning scenery where she can also explore the history of her husband’s roots.

With great energy and exciting ideas, we’re looking forward to having Barbara join us and can’t wait to see how the rest of the summer unfolds!
