Smiles and Snow-themed Crafts

Posted By: admin 0 Comment

There’s nothing like a good winter craft to lift your spirits!

Our Activities Director, Barbara Rosenberg, arranged a fun selection of winter crafts for the kids. As always, they were curated with care and enjoyed by all.

For a snow-themed snack, the children built snowmen using frosted donuts, M&Ms, Skittles, Fruit by the Foot, candy corn, pretzels and marshmallows. It’s safe to say these delicious treats didn’t last very long before they were gobbled up.

We also used another medium to bring the snowmen to life – pinecones. With a variety of goodies from cotton balls and pom-poms to pipe cleaners and googley eyes, there was plenty of room for creativity and letting the imagination run wild!

Did you know…

Not only are arts and crafts fun for kids, but they support mental development and growth! Crafting promotes self-exploration and awareness as children are able to express and explore their ideas through physically creating art. They start with an idea in their heads, and art able to bring it to life by creating it in person!

We love getting to experience the creative projects brought to our CMHA community with the help of our dedicated team members and Activities Director, Barb Rosenberg.
