CMHA and CMC Share and Spread Halloween Spirit
Halloween spirits were high as the Cape May Housing Authority worked with Cape May Cares to spread some fun and goodies to residents of the housing authority.
A handful of CMHA residents met with CMC members to organize treat bags and cupcakes. After the bags were packed, they were ready to be delivered!
Some of the housing authority children dressed in costume and came to the office to ‘trick-or-treat’ and receive their bag of goodies. We saw some great Halloween costumes and big grins in the community!
For those who were unaware of the treats or could not pick them up, the treats were hand delivered by the CMHA residents and CMC members. This brought a smile to those who opened their doors!
As the school year continues on, we also reminded families that we have a strong tutoring program open to those who need it. We encourage the children to spread the word to have friends sign up.
A big thank you to Joanne and Jaliyah Knight for making incredible spider cupcakes and to Nevil for carting the wagon full of pumpkins! We are so proud to be a part of such a supportive and caring community.
