Lisa is the treasurer for Cape May Cares, responsible for organizing and filing donations, payments, and how much funding the organization has available.
‘My 40+ year professional career was devoted to a Fortune 500 engineering and construction company working in Human Resources and for the past 14 years leading a team to support approximately 30,000 employees across the Americas specializing in employee relations, regulatory compliance, and diversity. My previous volunteer experience prior to moving to Cape May in January 2019 was serving for four years on the Board of Trustees for The Janus School, the only school in south central Pennsylvania dedicated to the education of students with learning differences. As I entered my semi-retirement phase in 2020, one of my goals was to find an organization to support through volunteer efforts.
"As I entered my semi-retirement phase, one of my goals was to find an organization to support through volunteer efforts. It was important to me that the organization was aligned with my values and principles. I could not have found a better organization than Cape May Cares to match this goal. Being able to support the children, seniors and families in need through all of the programs that are offered to help improve everyday lives tugs at my heartstrings. As a volunteer and Board Member of Cape May Cares my life has been enriched."
