What a spectacular summer it’s been! Not to mention, the time has absolutely flown by and we have officially come to an end with our Summer 2021 Program. Our last meeting was bittersweet, filled with fun treats as usual and one last day of crafting – until next summer. This week’s craft consisted of some glamorous jellyfish and ocean-themed Rice Krispy treats. Talk about a good send off! These Under the Sea snacks were so cute, we thought they might swim away!
This week we had an exciting blend of mixed media crafts and fun ocean themed brownies!
This week we jumped from ‘Under The Sea’ up to the stars! We decided to focus on setting goals and aiming high by imagining our own paths.
For this week’s adventure, we visited the NAS Wildwood Aviation Museum. With the hard work of our Activity Director (Barb), we were flying high and having a blast!
Summer isn’t the only thing flying by. Our first craft of our Week 3 summer program was ‘Under the Sea’ themed windsocks.
With summer well under way, we felt it was time for a party! Our first craft of the week in our Summer Program involved Jell-O, teddy bear graham crackers, and some personal creativity. Can you guess what we made?
The first week of our summer 2021 program started off with a splash! To kick off our ‘Under the Sea’ themed summer, we made tropical fish out of sea shells on the first day.
